The spam on this list is unacceptably bad.

Is there a way someone can modify it to only accept e-mails from
subscribers or something?

I have to say I agree. A 30-40:1 noise-to-signal ratio is fucking terrible.

I suspect part of the rason the list is so quiet is because everyone
unsubscribed to stop the spam. It's also ridiculously good at
bypassing Gmail's spam filters - the [Xbox-linux] tag seems to confuse
it.

Could someone with access to the mailer daemon please, *please* try
and fix this problem?

Perhaps gmail automatically whitelists the mailing-list's email
address if you have ever sent it an e-mail (since all the spam comes
from the xbox-linux-devel e-mail address).

Please, someone alter the list so that it's better, or we should all
just leave and make a new one.

I changed the settings to only let members post.
